If you have lost or found an animal you should call the Police Department at (586) 574-4700 and choose #6 for Animal Control. You will then be prompted to leave a message with the following information: Name, address, phone number, and specifics about the animal that was lost or found.
You can also go to the city's website at and fill out the 'Lost and Found' form so it can be posted online as well.
