Why doesn't the city website reflect delinquent tax payments made to the county?

Once our payments have been posted for the tax year and our delinquencies have been sent to the Macomb County Treasurer, our tax system is "frozen" for accepting any more payments. The county is then responsible for collecting delinquencies.
