What does the Community, Economic, and Downtown Development Department do?

The Department of Community, Economic and Downtown Development (CEDD) coordinates and assists with the work of the DDA, TIFA and Community Development Department. CEDD, being connected to each of these city offices and agencies, executes comprehensive policies related to business retention and attraction; quality, affordable housing; and regional economic development efforts. CEDD is also the point department for executing tax incentives for businesses.
