How quickly can direct payment of a water bill be set up/changed?
A direct pay form needs to be filled out initially and when there is a change. The first month will be a test run. If everything is fine, the direct pay will come out of the specified account on the due date of the following month. When you receive your water bill after the direct pay is effective, your water bill will say "direct pay - no check needed".
