Can you explain the sidewalk billing process?
Residents will receive their first sidewalk assessment bill in April of the year following the year of the repair. The first installment is due on July 1 of the year following the year of repair, with subsequent annual bills due on July 1 until the assessment is paid in full, for a maximum period of no more than five years at a 3% interest rate. You are permitted to pay the bill in full on the due date of the first installment.
